Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010)
I guess it is depressing to think that Hollywood seems to think that none of us remember the seventies. (I, of course, saw it mostly in rerun.) Still, "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" (2010) adds a few things to the old film. Doesn't get everything right, certainly enters the debate about seen/unseen threats, but was fun, colorful, and gets in a good nod to my friend Arthur Machen.
