Coriolanus (2011)
Coriolanus is not one of the most nimble and expressive cinema adaptations, but the themes presented ring loud and true for the current viewer. A few strange directorial moves and an unfortunate staginess hinder what could have been one of the great adaptations re-imagined for modern times.
Given Ralph Fiennes' comprehensive performance of the cipher Coriolanus, I expect it is a result of one craft getting more attention at the expense of another.
